Yes — but with some important considerations.
The ROTO-Q 360™ was designed for use on grills, ovens, pellet smokers, and fire pits, and it can handle high-heat environments. Its stainless steel construction and cordless, non-electric design make it safe around open flames.
However, you shouldn’t place it directly in the fire or directly on open coals. Instead:
Best Practice for Open Fire Use
- Place Roto-Q360 on a fire grate, campfire tripod, or flat surface above flame
- Maintain indirect heat -idealy around 300°C / 572°F max.
- Do not bury the ROTO-Q 360 in hot coals or ashes.
- Avoid exposing the wind-up dial and gear system directly to flames.
